The first meal of the day should be healthy and full of nutrients. Especially if you have children going to school, they need their calcium, vitamins, minerals, for proper growth and eating breakfast will help them grow healthy and strong in body and mind.
Usually in the morning, the children and you are so busy that breakfast is forgotten. Try not to skip you or your children breakfast. Here are the tips where you can have time to have breakfast.
1) For children finish your homework previous day and pack your school bags.
2) The clothes and the shoes can be kept ready the previous night.
3) Try to get up fifteen to twenty minutes earlier.
4) Do not switch on computer or television early in the morning
5) Have healthy food. Cereals etc are a good source of calcium and minerals.
6) Keep the breakfast for the morning ready the previous night.
7) Allow the children to use microwave oven.
8) If late, let the kids eat on the way to school in the car or bus.
The breakfast you and children eat can be varied. You can eat bread, bagels the left over supper or just cereal and milk. These foods do not take long to prepare and you will be able to feed yourself and your kids in no time. Do not miss the most important meal of the day.
